Ava sayings....

Yesterday I was speaking to my father about going to our town's square for "trunk or treat."
Ava asked me later...."Mom, when we go get candy, do we say "Trunk or Treat" or "Trick or Treat?"
(She listens even when I least expect it!)

After school yesterday Ava asked me some great thought provoking questions.

A: Mom, are all the buildings everywhere God's house?
Me: Only churches baby.
A: You mean my church (our preschool) is God's house?
Me: Yes! That is what we call all churches....God's house.
A: Is God big?
Me: Yes he is.
A: Bigger than Nana?
Me: Yep!
A: Bigger than Summer? (D's dog that recently passed away.)
Me: Yep!
A: Why did Nana decide to leave us?
Me: Well baby, Nana got really sick and the medicine just couldn't take away the bad stuff in her body. God needed her in Heaven so he took her there.
A: Oh....why did Summer go to Heaven?
Me: Well remember she also got sick...wouldn't eat....couldn't walk.....it was just time baby.
A: OH! Now I know.....you can only go to Heaven when your old.
