Enjoying our family together again! :)

Our family is complete again. Gabrielle will be with us for 2 weeks this summer. We have already had such a great time together. She is a doll. Literally so sweet. :) I am honored to call her my step-daughter. She is smart, beautiful, tall, funny, sweet, ...........
I feel so bad for Ava when Gabrielle leaves....she will be crushed. She doesn't understand why Gabrielle doesn't live w/ us. She wants to know why I'm not her mommy and why Gabrielle has the same Daddy as her. She also wants to know why she doesn't get to stay longer.
It is so hard to explain the facts of life to a 3.5 yr old. This is Damon's place though. He will explain it the best he can. We all have wonderful relationships in our lives. His and Paula's relationship just so happened produced a lovely girl named Gabrielle and now she has a brother and sister who love her so much.
Anyways--we will miss Gabrielle sooooo much come Friday!
